A 2013 house fire launched Martha into an unexpected direction. She replaced her tile shower with flagstones carved with Petroglyphs – the stone “islands” tied together with “ribbons” of smaller stone and pebbles. Martha works closely with her clients, incorporating their ideas and imagery into the design for their personal spaces as well as her clients’ own favorite stone and sea glass collections. “It’s like walking into Lascaux,” one contractor commented.
